The 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance Module is a solution especially useful for those users who are obliged to conform to provisions of 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Part 4, Annex 11 regulations. These two documents determine the rules for using electronic records and signatures.

Profinet – an open communication system based on the industrial Ethernet standard. It is a certain combination of features of PROFIBUS DB standard and industrial Ethernet. The Profinet interface application ensures compatibility of RADWAG weighing systems with industrial automation elements of other manufacturers. This approach results in easier and faster scales integration with PLCs, HMI operator panels or industrial robots.
Profinet is featured in the IM01.EX-5 communication module and MW-01-A5 weighing module, and as an option at an extra charge in PUE HX7 and PUE HY10 terminals, and in HRP platforms (and is not included in HRP.EX platforms).
Profibus – a real-time industrial network standard. It is based on the physical layer of the serial interface known as RS485. Communication takes place on a master/ slave basis and in this correlation the scale acts as a slave device. The use of the Profibus interface allows RADWAG scales to integrate with older generation automation systems using the Profibus network, which is still widely used in industry.
Profibus is featured in the IM01.EX-4 communication module as well as in MW-01-A4 and MW-04-3 weighing modules, and as an option at an extra charge in PUE HX7 and PUE HY10 terminals.
The analog output module converts the scale output signal (mass) into an analog signal. The mass value is most often represented in the form of a 4-20 mA current signal. Due to the low resolution of the module (several thousand), such a signal is used in automation for processes that do not require high precision.
Analog output module is available in: IM01.EX-2 communication module and MW01-A7 weighing module, and for an extra charge in PUE HX7 and PUE HY10 terminals.

IN/OUT module – semiconductor digital inputs/outputs which can take two binary states: “0” (inactive) or “1” (active). The input ativation performs the assigned function of the scale, for example, zeroing, tare or process start. The output activation informs about the execution of the assigned function, for example, a certain weight threshold exceeding, scale stability or the process continuation.
The IN/OUT module comes for an extra charge in PUE HX7 and PUE HY10 (12 IN/ 12 OUT) terminals.
